**If you are boarding at Nantua Farm, we recommend being at the first shoeing as well as anytime you may have some questions or there are issues that need to be resolved. We also recommend being present for the first vet visit (whether it is routine or not) and all non-routine (emergency) vet calls. Nantua Farm does not charge for hold for the vet and/or farrier (unless there are severe behavior issues, in which case we will assess the situation on an individual basis), but suggest the owner’s presence so they are aware of what is going on with their horse(s). If you have a tight schedule that needs to be arranged around, please let us know well ahead of time when you will be available.**
